Hey there Fam,
Feels awesome to be back in touch with all of you after a little break! Missed the buzz of our community and the chance to share some real talk with each of you.
Excited to shake things up a bit with our newsletter. We're adding something that means a lot to me. Any guesses? You got it - Pickleball! Yep, that’s right. Pickleball, the fastest-growing sport in America, is making its debut in our newsletter. Get ready for some awesome tips every time you see us pop up in your inbox.
That said, let's kick it off with our new segment: Pickleball Tip of the Week. This time, we're digging into something crucial – the split step. Mastering this move can seriously level up your game. It's all about slowing things down, finding your balance, and being ready to move in any direction in a flash.
Check out a fun reel from my Instagram that might give you a boost below.
The past couple months with Grace has been great. We've been doing all sorts of fun stuff & creating memories – like hunting for Easter eggs, riding bikes, and cruising around in her electric jeep. As a single father, every moment with her is pure gold.
Being a dad has this funny way of making me chill out and really appreciate the moment. When I'm with Grace, it's like all the stress just disappears, and I'm left feeling super peaceful.
Lastly, I gotta tell you about this crazy thing that happened to me in Minnesota last week. I was in an Uber, heading to a work thing, when I met this driver who'd been through some really tough stuff – like, he got shot three times in the stomach, had to stay in the hospital for ages, and had some super intense surgery. Had a 2% chance of living! But you know what? Despite all that, he was just so thankful and had this rock-solid faith. It blew my mind!
He even said something that stuck with me. He said, "I was meant to drive Bryant today." Can you believe that? It really made me realize how strong we can be when life throws us a curveball.
Thinking back on that moment, it's a reminder of all the little bits of hope and inspiration that are around us every day. Just wanted to share that with you.
Catch you soon, and keep the good vibes flowing.
