Be still → then go (pumpkins, peace, and reps)
Identity before activity.. on court and off.
Hey friend —
Quick pulse check: are you sprinting or breathing?
The last two weeks flew. Ohio with Grace for my niece’s baptism, lots of family time, and bonus…. no work travel. Space and quiet. I needed that.
Lesson I’m practicing
Identity before activity.
Watching the baptism reminded me: who you are comes before what you do. When I start from inner peace, the pace of life stops owning me. Romans 8:28 has been on my heart, and so has “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). From stillness comes flow, and from flow comes outer excellence… not perfection, but presence and confidence.
Tension I’m holding (and releasing)
I don’t have full clarity yet on how my pickleball/padel courses will come to life. And I’m at peace with that. Clarity grows in motion. This too shall pass.. and the next step will show when I take the step I can see.
Fatherhood snapshot
A couple weeks ago, Grace and I hit a pumpkin patch. We ended up just coloring pumpkins and talking, time slipping by with zero thought of to-dos. Those simple moments anchor me more than anything. Joy shows up when I’m not chasing it.
Creator corner
I’m steady on shorts + long-form, and I’m really enjoying the long-form groove. New YouTube video drops later today. Last week’s is here: 10 Essential Spanish Padel Shots Explained for Beginners.
If you’re chasing peace under pressure on court or at work today’s episode will help.
Play better this week
Reset > rush. Before you pull the trigger, earn it.
Deep breath before you serve and return (inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 4, hold 4).
Flow first, speed second.
Metrics corner — 1 lesson
Consistency compounds quietly. The micro-win this week: I felt smoother on camera without forcing it. Reps build real confidence.
If you’re new here, welcome. This is a living-room conversation about Inner Peace → Outer Excellence—flow state, joy, and confidence from the inside out.
Your turn: What’s one small thing you can do this week to create inner peace? Hit reply, I read every note.
