Do good > easy

Bowling, arcades, Austin FC, leaf piles.. and a quiet nudge toward purpose and community.

Hey friend —

Quick question: did your weekend fill you up or drain you?

Mine? Filled. Grace and I went full tilt.. bowling, arcade games, a stop by the Austin FC stadium (too late for a school night game, next time!), raked leaves, played soccer, and finished at a painting studio where we painted fish. The best kind of weekend.

The reminder I needed

A mentor once said: If you aim for easy, you’ll feel empty. Aim to do good, and you’ll feel purposeful.
That’s Inner Peace → Outer Excellence in action. Not a louder life but a truer one.

Fatherhood snapshot

Somewhere between leaf piles and brushstrokes, time slowed down. No agenda, no hurry.. just presence. That’s the flow state I want more of: peace first, then pace.

Faith note

I keep hearing the quiet nudge: be not afraid. When I release the need to control outcomes, joy has room to show up.

Creator corner

Behind the scenes, I’m changing partners on short-form and long-form content. Lots of moving parts, some short-term bumps and I’m embracing it. I believe the change leads to greater good. I’m also sketching an online community where this brand can live deeper than a feed… coaching rhythms, encouragement, and a calm corner for people who want Inner Peace + Outer Excellence in sport and life.

Would you join something like that?

P.S. If a friend needs a nudge toward purpose, forward this. And if you’re in Austin, let’s hit some balls soon.
