Faith, Fatherhood, Pickleball
Hey there, and welcome to all our new subscribers! I’m so glad you’ve decided to join us on this journey. Whether you’re here for the faith stories, the pickleball tips, or just to see what’s going on in the world of fatherhood, I hope you find something here that speaks to you. Life is full of ups and downs, and we’re all just trying to navigate it the best we can. Let’s dive into this week’s updates!
Faith
I’ve got a story! A friend in Austin recently hit some big milestones in her career after pushing through some tough times. Earlier this year, we were having breakfast, and she mentioned an opportunity that had her really excited. I remember telling her, "If it doesn’t work out, just know there’s something better waiting." Well, that first opportunity didn’t pan out, but just last week, she told me about a deal she closed that was way beyond what she imagined. It’s a powerful reminder that God’s plans are often way better than our own.
Pickleball Tip of the Week
This week’s tip is all about nailing the Erne! Here’s how to pull it off:
Anticipate the shot.
Wait for your opponent to turn with the ball behind them.
Lead with your inside foot.
Push off with your outside foot.
Jump clear of the kitchen.
Got paddle questions? Thinking about virtual lessons? Just hit me up!
Fatherhood
Looking forward to a weekend packed with fun with my daughter. We’re planning lots of outdoor activities—some pickleball, pool time, and a friend’s birthday party. Kindergarten is going well, and it’s awesome to hear her daily recaps of what she’s up to in school. She’s making new friends, which makes me happy.
That’s all for now – thanks for spending a minute with me today. If you’ve got anything you want to share or just want to chat, I’m here. Have a great weekend!
