Faith, Fatherhood + Pickleball: Our Latest Adventures

Fatherhood Fun

Since we last popped into your inbox, it’s been a great week with my dad and Grace. We had a blast at the Thinkery, a children’s playground museum. Grace wanted to go camping, so my dad got creative and built an epic camp setup with bedsheets. Grace loved it and used her imagination to camp out. We also enjoyed lots of yummy Asian food and acai bowls.

Faith and Remembering Mom

Tomorrow marks 5 years since my mom’s passing. I miss her dearly and think of her every day. I hope I’m making her proud. It’s been a journey, and my faith has helped me get through the tough times. Remembering her and staying positive keeps me going.

Pickleball Adventures

I just got back from a work trip in Baltimore for a healthcare conference at the Gaylord Convention Center. They had a pickleball court set up and even held a tournament. A few years ago, who would've thought pickleball would be at a big conference? It’s amazing to see how much the sport has grown!

Pickleball Tip of the Week

Here’s a quick tip for improving your return game in pickleball:

Give yourself enough space behind the baseline.

Aim for depth with your shots.

Limit wrist action and keep a short take back.

Have an open stance and move your body weight forward.

Keep practicing and have fun on the court!
