Flow, Focus, and Finding Gains

Winning the Morning, Winning the Day

Hey friends,

Welcome to the crew 👋 If you’re new here, this is where racquet sports, faith, and breakthroughs all meet under the banner of inner peace and outer excellence.

🌀 Story: Flow State in the Everyday

This past week I filmed a long-form “day in the life” video. I’m excited for you to see it soon. It’s not flashy. No highlight reels. Just a glimpse of how I try to win the morning to win the day.

For me, flow starts before I even touch a paddle or racket. Silence. Prayer. Intention. When I start that way, everything feels different. When I don’t, I feel it.. stress shows up quicker, focus slips, patience runs thin.

Flow state isn’t just for the court. It’s for parenting, work calls, workouts, and how you show up in every conversation.

🎥 Content Updates

  • Filmed a long-form video (day in the life) — can’t wait to share how I start, reset, and close out my days.

  • Back on track with short-form content: pickleball and padel clips coming your way.

  • Reading more: Godly Ambition + The Gap and the Gain. Trying to be as consistent here as I am in the gym.

No crazy padel or pickleball matches this week, but the lessons keep coming through the process of filming, planning, and reflecting.

📚 Application: Try This

This week, notice how you start your day. Do you roll straight into chaos? Or do you create 5 minutes of space for prayer, gratitude, breath, whatever centers you?

Think of it like your “pre-game warmup” for life. You wouldn’t step on court cold. Why step into your day that way?

👊 Encouragement

Presence beats perfection.

This week I wasn’t “at my best” with content. Felt rushed. But I still showed up. Accomplished beats nothing. Sometimes the win is just in the doing.

Same goes for you: if you’re not at your best, don’t beat yourself up. Just take the next right step.

📩 Your Turn
