Home, Family, Padel Fever + a Challenge for Your Soul
Family, faith, padel battles, and big dreams in the making.
Hey Crew,
It’s been a few weeks... so let’s catch up, shall we?
Since last time I landed in your inbox, life’s been full.
Grace and I had an awesome Easter weekend here in Austin with my dad, my brother, sister-in-law, and my little nephew.
Family time always fills the tank.
Also it’s been road warrior mode for work the past couple of weeks.
As good as it’s been, I'm looking forward to being home this week, sleeping in my own bed, and not living out of a suitcase.
Quick Life Updates:
Been staying consistent with content, even front-loaded a bunch last week since my videographer is out of town. (Work smarter, not harder, right?)
Continuing to fall hard for padel. I still love pickleball, don’t worry — but padel’s got that tennis soul. It brings me back to my old tennis tournament days — the grind, the battle, and the desire to get better and learn.
Met a great guy here in Austin who’s been a huge help the past few weeks. Smart. Easy to talk to. Knows branding like the back of his hand. Thinking about working with him to build out some courses — something I’ve wanted to do but just didn't have the bandwidth for with the full-time job and single dad life. Having the right people around makes the impossible feel possible, doesn’t it?
Faith + Focus:
Lately, I’ve felt even closer to my faith — especially my Catholic roots.
The recent passing of Pope Francis hit hard.
Been spending more time in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to guide the Church during this next chapter.
(If you’re a person of prayer, join me this week. The world can always use a few more heartfelt prayers.)
Quick Challenge for You:
Wherever you're at right now — crushing it or crawling through — challenge yourself this week to grow just 1% in your faith.
It could be a 5-minute prayer.
Reading one chapter of something uplifting.
Even just choosing gratitude over grumbling once today.
Small things add up.
Also — open door policy here:
If you ever have any pickleball or padel questions…
Or if you’ve got something heavy on your mind or heart and don’t have anyone to talk to…
You can always hit "reply." Seriously. I'm here.
Wrapping Up:
Thanks for letting me share a little window into the madness and goodness.
Hope this finds you grinding, growing, and giving yourself some grace.
You’re doing better than you think.
Let’s keep rising — on the court, in life, and in faith.
Talk soon,
Bryant
