Pickleball, Family Time + Life's Journey

Pickleball Strategies, Family Adventures + Spiritual Growth

Hey there, Pickleball Enthusiasts and Fellow Dads!

Welcome back to another edition of our newsletter where we blend pickleball tips, faith insights, and the joys of fatherhood. Grab your paddle, take a deep breath, and let's dive in!

Pickleball Tip of the Week: This week's tip is a game-changer: aim your 3rd shot drop cross court. This nifty move keeps your opponent on their toes and gives you the upper hand. Give it a shot (pun intended!) and watch your game improve (see video below).

Life Update: Wow, the last two weeks have been a whirlwind! I've been hustling to build up my pickleball content pipeline because I'll be out the last two weeks of June. My daughter and I are heading to Florida to visit my dad, and we can’t wait for some sunshine and family time.

On a somber note, my grandpa passed away recently, and I flew to Ohio for his funeral last week. He lived a wonderful 90 years, but it's still tough to say goodbye.

Weekend Plans: This weekend, my daughter and I have some fun plans lined up. We'll be swimming, exploring the children’s museum, and of course, hitting the pickleball courts. Plus, I’ll squeeze in a couple of quick, efficient workouts to model those healthy habits for her.

Faith Lesson: Life is a journey! Just like we keep our bodies strong with exercise, we need to flex our spiritual muscles too. For me, that means going to church, engaging in prayer, and staying connected with my community. These practices help me stay grounded and keep moving forward, no matter what life throws my way.

Reach Out: How about you? Facing any struggles at the moment? I'm here to listen and support.

Thanks for reading, and until next time, keep shining!
