Pickleball Roll Dinks + Dad Wins

Pickleball Roll Dinks + Dad Wins

Hey there fam,

Another whirlwind week down, and boy, was it a ride! Spent most of my time on the road, hustling in Wichita, KS for some customer visits. Sadly, no time for pickleball, but hey, that just means I'm itching to hit the courts this week and catch up with friends here in Austin.

Pickleball Tip of the Week: Let's talk about stepping up your backhand roll dink game in pickleball!

Picture this: You, confidently nailing that two-handed backhand roll like a pro.

Here's the lowdown:

First off, get that grip right – both hands on the paddle, with your top hand doing most of the work.

Drop that paddle tip to the ground, get under that ball, and focus on hitting the outside of the ball to get the ball crosscourt with spin.

Now for our quick note on fatherhood.  I stumbled upon a powerful post on Instagram last week. It was all about a dad who turned his relationship with his kids around with a simple routine – weekly walks. They chat about dreams, fears, and everything in between, and it's become the highlight of their week. Let's be real, if every dad did something like this, the family unit would be stronger, would you agree?

Oh, and quick shoutout to all the amazing moms out there – Happy Mother's Day! You're the real MVPs, and we appreciate everything you do.

Alrighty, that's a wrap for this week! If you're craving some one-on-one pickleball action – in person or virtually – hit me up!

Catch you next week,

Bryant
