Tired Legs, Full Heart, and a Letter to My Future Self

Padel, Pickleball, FaceTime & Future Dreams

Hey friends,

Writing this one tonight with tired legs and a full heart. You know that kind of good exhaustion that lets you know you really lived the last couple days? That’s where I’m at.

The past 48 hours have been filled with court time—especially padel. My body is definitely feeling it, in all the best ways. I’m thankful for the reps, especially with a tournament coming up and work travel on the calendar next week.

This morning, I was back at it filming more pickleball content. It felt good to be creating again. Round two of the pickleball course shoot kicks off Monday morning—let’s go.

Quick Dad Life Update 👧
Didn’t get to see my daughter this past week, but FaceTime held us down. On our last call, we started planning a trip to a local water park for when I pick her up. She’s pumped. So am I. Pretty sure she’s already packed.

A Letter to 2030 Me 📬
Last weekend, I tried something new. I sat down and wrote a letter to my future self. A little time capsule to open in summer 2030—just five years away.

It was a powerful exercise. I reflected on who I hope to be, what I hope I’ve overcome, and how I hope I’ve grown. If you haven’t done that before, I highly recommend it. Dreaming into the future helps bring the present into sharper focus.
