Been an action-packed week over here. Still getting settled into the new home (unpacking is basically an Olympic sport at this point). Also mapping out content for both pickleball and padel—lots of good stuff coming your way.

Next week, I’m off to Chicago for work—visiting Northwestern and maybe sneaking in some deep-dish pizza (okay, probably not… but the temptation is real 😅). Gotta keep the diet clean for that peak energy!
🏡 Mindset Tip: Trust Your Gut
Let me tell you a quick story about a tree and a gut feeling.
During the home-buying process, there was this big ol’ tree in the backyard. Something told me to get it checked out, but I ignored the nudge. After moving in, that nudge turned into a full-on shove. Finally called an arborist, and sure enough—the tree was dying and has to go immediately. Not cheap. Not fun. Definitely rattled me for a bit.
But then I took a step back. I’m in the home I wanted. In the area I wanted. With the ability to handle unexpected hits like this. That’s a blessing. Sometimes frustrations are just wrapped-up lessons in gratitude.
