What Charlie Kirk’s Legacy Taught Me This Week

Living With the End in Mind

Hey friends,

Big welcome to new subscribers 👋 grateful you’re here. This is where racquet sports, faith, and breakthroughs all meet under the banner of inner peace + outer excellence.

💔

This past week shook me. Like many of you, I was gutted by the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk.

I respected him before, but the past few days I’ve found myself going deeper into his work, his content, his truth. The way he lived was a masterclass: bold, unwavering, and yet rooted in family. Two young kids. Always putting them first while still pushing out work that mattered across podcasts, social, and speaking.

It’s left me both mourning and motivated. Mourning the loss, but motivated to live more on fire for my faith, to be a better father for Grace, and to stay true to the mission.

🔑 Lesson: Living With the End in Mind

Charlie was asked in an interview just months ago how he wanted to be remembered. His answer? For his faith.

That hit me. Because that’s what I want too. Not success, not status. Faith. To push others toward light. To inspire peace.

And for me, true peace only comes from one place.. from my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

🎾 Racquet Sports & Brand Update

On my side of things, content was slower this week, but I’m excited. Fired up to ramp up and bring the first digital product to life… starting with pickleball, then padel right behind it.

I even got a long-form video filmed breaking down the top beginner padel mistakes and how to fix them. Can’t wait to get that out.

This journey isn’t just about tips. It’s about equipping you to step on the court with clarity, confidence, and calm — to play from a centered place.

👨‍👧 Fatherhood

Saturday morning I got to see Grace’s first soccer game of the season. Pure joy. And my dad is in town this weekend too, so I’ve been soaking up quality time with him. Grateful moments.

✨ Final Word

Charlie’s life was a reminder. Adversity will come. Tragedy will come. But the question we each have to answer is: how do we want to be remembered?

This week, I’m choosing to press into peace. To stay rooted in purpose. To keep showing up with outer excellence — for Grace, for my work, and for all of you.
